Episode 45: How Physician Education Is Improving the Patient Experience, with Valerie Weber



Dr. Valerie Weber is originally from Erie, Pennsylvania. The youngest of three children, Dr. Weber was raised by an engineer father and a stay-at-home mother.

She attended Washington & Jefferson College and earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology in 1987 and then an MD at the University of Pennsylvania in 1991. She trained in internal medicine in Philadelphia and began both her career and her family during those years.

Since 2014, Dr. Weber has served as Vice Dean for Educational Affairs at the Drexel University College of Medicine. She has two children and currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Episode 43: Carmen Twillie Ambar



Dr. Carmen Twillie Ambar came to Cedar Crest College as its 13th president in 2008. She serves on the board of a number of organizations. She’s been awarded a number of awards including being honored by the Governor’s office as a distinguished Daughter of Pennsylvania. Prior to her time at Cedar Crest, she had a successful tenure as vice president and dean of Douglas College at Rutgers University where she was the youngest dean in the university’s history. She served as an assistant dean of graduate education at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.

As an attorney, she previously worked in the New York City law department as an assistant corporation counsel. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Columbia School of Law, her master’s in public affairs from Princeton University, and her bachelor of science degree in foreign service from Georgetown University.

Susan Flynn-Hollander is the vice-president of legal department at the True North Practice Management Associates, LLC, and she’s also a private consultant.

In 2016, Susan was named one of the best women in business from the New Jersey Biz Magazine. 2014, she was the Salute to the Policymakers Award from Executive Women of New Jersey, and she was Nonprofit General Counsel of the Year.

Susan has been a member of community boards, executive member of New Jersey Health Foundation, and Foundation Venture Capital.
